Asian investor confidence are upbeat on the property market, with many expecting the local property market to pick up in the coming year, according to the latest report.
This view and statistics is in stark contrast to the previous year whereby only half of the correspondents feel that the property market will pick up.
Analyst attributes this strong change in sentiment to the strong labour market as well as the stable investment environment. However, analyst also note that despite the strong confidence attributed by the market, cautious tone is needed as there is possible tapering of the US markets.

Also, of the correspondents surveyed, most of them listed Singapore as the top city for real estate investment followed by China and Japan. This is in view that Singapore real estate investments are facing stronger competition due to lower yield and banking restrictions.
